We enter into community with others out of a position of strength. Jesus received (Matt. 3:16-17) the affirmation from the Father at the outset of His ministry. He was called a “beloved son”. We too must rest in a similar affirmation. Out of the solitude of time spent in the presence of the Father do we enter in community and in that community do we serve.
